GTX Engineering partners with owners for renovation / retrofit designs to increase efficiency, reliability and meet new mission requirements. An existing 5000 ton chiller plant could no longer be maintained or operated in an efficient manner nor meet the anticipated new loads. A new 6000 ton plant, with new cooling tower, was designed to replace the existing plant equipment, using the same building and distribution pipe while never interrupting cooling service to the campus!
